A LOVELY dish that’s equally delicious cooked under the grill or on a hot charcoal barbecue. SERVES 6 Ingredients 18 lamb cutlets or chops Zest and juice two lemons Few thyme sprigs, leaves stripped, plus extra to serve if you wish 2 garlic cloves, crushed 200ml/7fl oz Greek yoghurt Houmous, pitta bread and salad leaves, to serve Method 1 Sit the lamb in a large shallow dish, then mix the lemon zest and juice, thyme leaves and garlic together. Pour over, turn to coat, then leave to marinate at room temperature for 15 minutes. 2 Season the yoghurt, lift the lamb out of the marinade and rub with the yoghurt. Barbecue or grill for five to 15 minutes, turning once, until the lamb is cooked to your liking. Scatter with a little more thyme, if you like, and serve with dollops of houmous, some pitta bread and salad.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), InSTEP LLC, of Mendota Heights, Minn., is recalling about 44,000 jogging strollers. The stroller’s brake can fail, causing the stroller to unexpectedly roll away resulting in injury to a child.
InSTEP LLC has received five reports of brakes failing. No injuries have been reported.
The recall involves InSTEP and HEALTHRIDER brand single and double jogging strollers manufactured from December 1998 through July 1999 with the model numbers: ZS100, ZD200, ZS100WS, ZD200WS, ZS100HR, ZD200HR, PR100 or PR200. The manufacturing date, written as T “month” R “year” I, is located on a sticker on the lower cross tube (for example T01R99I is January 1999). “InSTEP” and the model number also are on the sticker. InSTEP model numbers ZS100, ZD200, ZS100WS, ZD200WS, PR100 and PR200 have a blue and green seat, and green canopy. “ZII” is on the top and “InSTEP” is on the front of the stroller. Sometimes I?m hungry enough to put up with weirdness, but yesterday, was another matter. The sheer absurdity of the joint got to me.
Here?s the scene. It?s 4:45 on a Friday afternoon, and I haven?t eaten a thing all day. Nothing would be better than a nice piece of prime rib, a tangy thousand isle dressing, hot bread, garlic mashed potatoes, and a glass or two of St. Francis cabernet.

I walk in and ask for a booth where I can stretch out. I?m 6-2, bundled up against the wind, you get the picture, and, the place is two-thirds empty.
In addition to the main dining area, where few patrons are congregated, there is a more delightful, adjacent room; replete with those old fashioned, overstuffed red booths you can still see in my hometown?Chicago?which I like for comfort and sentimental reasons.

“WE’RE more worried about 2011 than 2010.” That was the verdict of Daily Mail & General Trust finance director Peter Williams as he reported a 6% rise in underlying revenues to Pounds 508 million in the three months to July 4. The publisher of the Daily Mail, which owns a 25% stake in the Evening Standard, said trading was “ahead of our expectations” but warned: “We remain wary about the medium-term outlook, particularly in the UK.”
Williams explained: “All these austerity measures are surely going to have an effect.” There is little sign of a double-dip recession yet.
Display advertising at DMGT’s national newspapers rose 15% in the third quarter. Digital revenues jumped 46% at MailOnline, which carries more celebrity news than the Daily Mail newspaper.
DMGT will launch a paid-for app for Apple iPad in August. It will be more like a “version of the print paper as opposed to MailOnline, which is a different product and aimed at a different audience”.
Williams was most optimistic about “the speed of the turnaround” at financial publisher Euromoney Institutional Investor, in which DMGT has a 66.3% stake
